VIEW/DOWNLOAD MY VITAE

Hello!  I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Florida State University.

My primary research interest deals with understanding how behavior and outcomes in economic contexts are influenced by the presence of external actors of the kind often observed in real-world social settings. For example, we often delegate decisions to other individuals or look to external actors for guidance in how we decide. While economic theory often includes such delegation (as in principal-agent models) or external guidance (as in social learning models), my work explores ways in which external actors influence behavior in ways not included in standard models.  I am also interested in coordination mechanisms and conditions that improve coordination among interdependent economic agents.
